We have several very good collectors around our house.
That is why I find boxes filled with acorns, and boxes on his bunk filled with paper water bombs, and baggies filled with glass beads and baggies with chicken bones.
That is why I then find acorns on our stairs and glass beads under the stove and 2 inch sticks along the baseboard.
One boy seems to leave clothes behind him, everywhere he goes. Another leaves books and pencils. The littlest leaves weapons (seriously!- but they are toys).
Some days I grow so weary of cleaning up all the STUFF around. . .
Yet I am SO thankful for my Collectors and their things and their dreams and plans. Lord, thank you for this!

Calli, your spirit of gratitude is an encouragement and inspiration.
just think of it as "collecting" things to make the cleaning process faster and more "organized" :)

Thanks for sharing your perspective. Kylie and Danny leave things EVERYwhere, and I find myself getting frustrated and weary of picking things up and putting them away (or telling them to, or even sometimes just looking at the items...on the floor, out of place, when I'm too lazy to do anything about it). But these things are also usually testaments to their creativity and imagination, and I need to remember that sometimes. (aka all the time.) Thanks!
