There are still two weeks until Easter, which is still enough time to prepare your heart for the best celebration of the year!
Our family has really enjoyed reading books by Arnold Ytreeide during Advent and Lent as we prepare our hearts for Christmas and Easter celebrations. These are adventurous, which keeps our boys engaged in the story line, but also heartwarming, which keeps L (8) and I reading, too. Best of all, they are historical fiction for the time of Jesus. . . so we're learning so much as we go!
If you are looking for a good family read-aloud, I highly recommend these- and if you start with Amon's Adventure now, you could have a wonderful and climactic Easter!
