Just have to love the things that The Little Mayor says (M; he's 3). He has quite the reputation with our friends and acquaintances as being adorable and sweet and funny.
Today, I was reading a book about rodents to him. When we came to the page with the woodchuck, he exclaims, "Oh! I know about this one!" and then he proceeds, "How much would could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck chuck chuck chuck."
A few days ago the biggest boys and I were having a conversation about the fast-approaching teenage years. I stated, "Well, we're not having teenagers in this house. We can have young men or boy children, but not teenagers."
T (6), looked rather surprised, but then asked, "You mean they are going to have their own house and everything?"
M, concerned about things staying and going declared, "But we'll still have yogurt and granola." Of course. We can't let that go.
