Slowing Down

 The past few weeks have felt so fast that I'm barely holding on. With my head down and my tasks to do so large in my mind, many other things have gone unnoticed. And while I've been trying to hold things together, keep a family fed, nurse a baby, school children, run a business, and all that. . . the leaves have been changing color and the clouds have been passing overhead and the sky has darkened into deep blues and lightened with the morning sun. And all of this points to HIM, the Magnificent Creator. When I lift my head, I realize how good it is to slow down. His word says that He IS the Lifter of My Head. Oh, what beauty He has made for us to behold!
